TNR-iOriginally launched in 2007 by Yamaha Instruments the innovative and much sought after Tenori-On, became an overnight sensation and was used by artists such a Björk, Jim O'Rouke and Little Boots. Much to the delight of those who cannot afford the hefty price tag of the hardware original (£700 plus) Yamaha have now made an iOS version for both iPhone and iPad. Furthermore it comes with a very attractive price tag of just £13.99 - admittedly slight more than the average app, but Yamaha have pretty much matched every feature of the original and although it doesn't have the same intuitive response of the original this makes TNR-i a must have for anyone who has lusted after the original.
